SalesCart was designed by ComCity, one of the first 25 registered Microsoft FrontPage Web Presence Providers.  With hundreds of FrontPage and other Web hosting customers and many years of FrontPage experience, ComCity has developed a shopping cart that is built for customers as well as Internet Service and Web Presence Providers (ISP/WPPs).  

What ComCity learned from its customers is that many small to medium sized companies were eager to enable their Web sites for electronic commerce and supplement the income of their new and existing businesses.   These customers discovered two things that were truly required to sell products on the Internet:  1) Either you need a lot of money to purchase a complex electronic commerce solution, or 2) you need a team of programmers to build a complex electronic commerce solution. 

That's why ComCity developed SalesCart...

Although we could have easily designed SalesCart to work only with ComCity hosting solutions or as only a Shopping Cart service, what makes SalesCart so special is that it will work with any certified  Web Presence Provider running Windows NT who fully supports database and Active Server Page support. In fact, SalesCart is so ISP friendly that you could host your SalesCart site without your ISP every knowing,  And every day, a new ISP/WPP partner is added to the list of providers that support SalesCart. 

However, many presence providers may have already invested in building or supporting lesser shopping cart systems or more complex expensive ones and they will be reluctant to change to SalesCart.  If your presence provider "does not" support SalesCart, then contact ComCity for a list of ISP/WPP partners that do.
